So, I did use to play multiplayer games with my friends when I was younger. We would frequently visit each other and play games like the WWE games, Mario Kart, etc. However, as my anxiety worsened, I stopped seeing my friends as frequently. However, we would still play online sometimes on the PS3, but with paid online, that all came to an end. I ended up becoming virtually exclusively a SP gamer.

That is, until I got the Switch. After becoming more acquainted with the users here, and with the online being free for the moment, I ended up playing Ultra Street Fighter II and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with various members of this site, and I've had a lot of fun! It's basically the first time in years that I really played multiplayer, and it's been a blast talking with and playing with the people here. So, the Nintendo Switch has actually made me interested in multiplayer again, even if only for the months that it's free for!

Well, i think couch co-op is the main reason I like video games. Very unfortunately I do not have the chance to do it anymore. So I play arcade or some retro consoles for the nostalgia as very few co-op games are still out there, and Nintendo is the one spearheading the local multiplayer, while Sony and micro$oft are more on the only multi gaming scene. I understand what you say, and boy. I do miss sega time.

Multiplayer, specially couch MP, is what interested more about videogames. No wonder I love Nintendo XD. Coach multiplayer is almost unexistent nowadays. But yeah, online MP is also fun. Lemme know if you want to play some MK8 races ;)

I really like the local multiplayer options the Switch brings to the table, specially on the go.

Nintendo single highhandedly killed multiplayer for me.

But seriously, I've never been much for multiplayer games on consoles, specially on Nintendo consoles. I'veonly spend a decent amount of time on Naughty Dog's MP for Uncharted and The Last of Us.

Playing online wii u games with users here got me closer to the community so I understand how you feel.
