Go on, ask a mod how many times I have been banned for shitting about Sony in the last 12 months (or even 24), then I hope you come to me with an apology.

It's easier if you just post your mod history yourself, like this:

Mine would take miles.

It literally why I enjoy alot what sony offers me in software space.

Why arent these types of interviews promoted in N4G?

A lot seem to think that story means bad or lack of gameplay. THat's just ridiculous. Last cinematic game I played was horizon zero dawn and I believe the gameplay was spectacular.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Yup.
Has been some time some people have been trying to spread games with good stories/narrative or even good graphics as lacking in gameplay for no reason, when it's a case to case thing.

For me a good story and/or graphics should be a plus. There is no type of game that cannot be enhanced with this. Even multyplayer focused games need and do look good, just look at battlefront. And the story for that game might be lacking on the disc, but it still has 8 movies that help you get inmerse in it.

Yeah, I prefer single-player/story-based games much more than multiplayer games too.

same here :) 100 %. A good story with interesting characters and great gameplay >>>> all Multiplayer-Games.

Just the words I wanted to hear. Sony is one of the last giants still doing single player. Enjoy and cherish it while it lasts, you will miss them when everything becomes about loot boxes, services(ie milk the shit out of game(r)s), and Destiny clones. Threads in 2030: "Remember games like MGS, TLOU and SotC?"

It's good that Sony(and their Japanese partners) keep scoring by being a very traditional games company. They really seem to know what hardcore Playstation enthusiasts want: blockbuster AAA games, Japanese games, the right kind of remasters, remakes, and localizations, and sign gaming's greatest auteurs (Hideo Kojima, Yu Suzuki). With people like Mark Cerny, and Shu Yoshida (who platinum'd Bloodborne) it's not hard to see why, they're gamers themselves.

Who else does passion projects like The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2, on top of pumping out AAA titles? Who else would bring Yakuza overseas? Certainly not Reggie, he waited on Europe and see how it sold there before bringing it to America, despite NoA being a much bigger operation.

Sony keeps on delivering, they don't have a exec like Phil Spencer making empty statements about how important 1st party is, and then the output gets worse each year.

Sony's SP focus doesn't hinder you from playing MP games on their platform. It's not a zero sum game. This is what's great about PS4, it has everything.  I can play Uncharted, Horizon and then switch to FF14, Overwatch or Titanfall 2.

You're absolutely right, Turkish.
This is the great thing about the PS4: So many wonderful singleplayer and multiplayer games on a console. On PS3 I was very disappointed, but on the PS4 there are much better games from the West and Japan. The gaming era is more back than people thought, thanks to the PlayStation 4 and all great developer + Sony.

Without good singleplayer games the videogame world would be dead for me..

i like single player games i was never really a multiplayer gamer unless it was co-op ..with that said i think a balance is good i can not play too many cinematic games either i begin to feel overwhelmed..this is part of the reason i have not got horizon yet as i have just beat witcher 3 after 400+ hours.

I understand you :) I personally played online at the PS3 time, but singleplayer games have always been more important. The PS4 gets so many great (story/singleplayer-)games, I currently play 0% online :) But there is also a lot of online / multiplayer games. The balance is perfect and that is the reason that the PS4 is the best console for people & player.

Really confused when people say they don't like story driven games but then say TLG or gravity rush but then say no to horizon.

Even with the above, we've had games like R&C, just got crash trilogy, Knack and now Knack 2, there was Tearaway, LBP3, Rez Infinite, That's you has just been released and there are plenty more.

the games are different - but yes, the selection is awesome.
What is your Singleplayer-Most Wanted-Game in august for PS4 ? @all

in august... Uncharted The Lost Legacy and Yakuza Kiwami are coming :) Two AAA-Masterpieces. And other great PS4-Games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm-Collection, Hellblade, Everybodys Golf ect.

As a old-gamer, single player is very important to me.

It's hard for me to play a only online game with very little solo content, except mmo like FF14.
