Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How Much Space is Left on Your Nintendo Switch?

Just checked my diskspace on my Nintendo Switch and I was surprised that I only have 1,5 GB left. :(

Well, too many games bought I guess.

I've got:

Mighty Gunvolt Burst
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
ARMS
NBA Playgrounds
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero
Blaster Master Zero
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition
KAMIKO
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
ACA NEOGEO ALPHA MISSION II
FAST RMX
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
ACA NEOGEO METAL SLUG 3

downloaded on my system.

And I got 3 games on Cartridge, which also take some space on the Device itself:

Lego City Undercover: 479 MB
Disgaea 5 Complete: 17,7 MB
Zelda: BOTW: 163 MB

I guess it's time for a Micro SD card, so I ordered a 128 GB Samsung EVO Plus because of it's environmental protection. Don't wanna replace the card after one year, tough :/

How about your system?

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

Still 24 GB left.

I only have The Binding of Isaac. xP

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Still a lot. The demos I downloaded took most of the space.

Pocky Lover Boy!

I agree with you. It's actually pretty sad. I have no space, and that's because I don't own a Switch. :/

3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.

That 128gb isnt gonna last long either.

You need to go physical when you get games for the switch.

That is the problem, like 13 games digital and only 3 physical.

It needs to be the otherway around unless you want to spend like 200$ for a 500gb SD card.

Yeah, that's actually the reason I haven't got a switch yet. I have been completely digital for years and since the given storage is a joke and the prices of additional storage is... exceptional... I'm in wait and hope mode. Hoping Nintendo releases a model with more internal storage (not likely) or the price of the sd cards come down to a more palatable range...

I go only digital for all games focused on multiplayer or are not available in phyiscal form.

The main big singleplayer experiences like Zelda, Mario Odysee, XC2 are and will be physical. Splatoon 2 will be digital for me.

I just hate to swap the game for a short burst of online fun.

This is one of those things that I can understand bugs Switch users.

You simply have to get used to buying phyical copies of games.

Buy a PS4slim with 1tb (it was just 249$) with the gold model.
Buy a Switch 32GB and spend 200$ extra on a 500GB microSD.

You simply have to get used to buying phyical copies of games.

I'm not really sure bugged is the right word that anyone who owns a switch would use about storage if I'm honest.

If you did want a 512gb micro sd card there is one for £129 translates to around $160

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Micro-512-Flash-Drive-Smartphones/dp/B01NC30Z84/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497960712&sr=8-1&keywords=micro+sd+card+512gb

Or can do what most people including myself done and get something like

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Ultra-MicroSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B013UDL5HU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497961042&sr=8-2&keywords=micro+sd+128gb

and add 128gb of storage for £40

Considering I'm coming from my last handheld which has a ....

In it... I consider the Switch to be glorious in terms of what the additional storage costs.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

At least the Switch is still have decent amount of internal storage and doesn't rely on proprietary memory card. Imagine if a handheld like that exist

A handheld gamer only (for now).
