Really depends on when the Gray Hawk APU comes out and if Sony chooses Navi over Vega. I'm hoping for 2020 over 2019.

I think PS4P and XOX has extended this generation at least 2 years beyond what would have been predicted at the start of the generation. I think PS5 in 2021, unless MS pulls the trigger on XO2 before then. Still, I don;t see MS launching new hardware before 2020.

zero chance of ps5 in 2018.
zero chance of ps5 in 2019.
medium chance in 2020
higher chance in 2021
very likely it will be out before 2022
can't see it being any later then 2023

personally i go for 2020/2021

any earlier makes no sense.

plus the advancement of hardware won't be sufficiant until at least 2020 and possiblly 2021 at a reasonable price. I also think GTA 6 will release in either 2019 0r 2020 and that will be the last 12 months of the ps4 gen. They will then port it to the PS5 within a year into the new gen.
