Yeah, that album slays. They were a straight up Black Metal band but nowadays as you can listen from that latest track they are more Black N' Roll. Tight headbanging material. :D

Nice!! I haven't heard much black 'n roll myself, but I do like m some death 'n roll. I love Wolverine Blues, and despite not being all-too praised, I'm actually a big fan of Swansong by Carcass as well.

Worth noting how many of these bands shift sound throughout their careers, bands like AD/DC and Cannibal Corpse aside that is. :P

Darkthrone and Emperor pretty much did they same thing being part of the Norwegian Black Metal scene.

Caracass though, they didn't just change style, but influence two different Hard Rock/Metal and Metal subgenres.

Surgical Steel was a very good return by the band.

I like Satyricon a fair bit. Very good live. Old stuff is good but I prefer the newer stuff to be honest. Volcano is their best album in my opinion.

Old Satyricon stuff these days sounds killer live:

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I like all of Carcass' albums, though Necroticism is probably my favourite.

Album of the Week: Sodom - Agent Orange (1989)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9M31l0pkC4

So, we're now in thrash territory!! Sodom originally had more black metal-styled music before moving into a more pure thrash sound. They ended up becoming known as one of the "big 3" of German thrash bands, along with Kreator and Destruction.  This is hard-hitting thrash from start to almost finish, with a small shake-up in the form of a cover (namely Tank's Don't Walk Away). I've been listening to this album quite a bit the past week or so, it has definitely gained my interest, that's for sure!!!

The best metal song ever is

The Blue by Acid Bath

Acid Bath are cool too, unfortunately it's really difficult finding their stuff online.

Yeak I know :/ It's sad because I like them a lot. I just downloaded the app soulseek on my PC and looked up Acid Bath albums. It's nice and convenient.

I'm honestly not the biggest metal head, but it's definitely a music type i'd like to get into more.

I guess you could check out the list I have in the first post then, or check out some of the other stuff I've posted!!

Persecution Mania is my Sodom album of choice. Can't go wrong with Agent Orange though.

This is a good album I stumbled upon once long ago :

Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence

Idk if it's well known

Hmm, I clicked on it and was already a few minutes into it, so I must have checked it out before. It does sounds familiar.
