How is killing innocent civilians "taking matters into your own hands"? That guy is a lunatic, nothing more. If he was that disappointed and motivated why not fly to Syria and kill actual terrorists? Because he's a fucking coward and a moron.

I think it's pretty offensive to somehow try to find the blame for this incident in the authorities.

He's not saying their actions were justified. Rather, they were explainable.

To them, it's a righteous cause. To us, it's nothing more than a pitiful excuse for being a murderer.

Certainly in the context of the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy, your comment is absolutely right. There is a lot of anger right now, and there have been protests and demonstrations about how the situation is being handled. However, in the context of this particular attack on Muslims, it's too early to say, until we know more about the attacker (who has since been arrested)
