Honestly, I wouldn't even be a little surprised if Metroid 4 came out before FFVII part 1.

FFVII has really been a let down for me personally (I know others are psyched and that's fine)... there's many other final fantasy games I'd enjoy a remake for over that one, and by splitting it up into parts for some reason ($) they seem to have tied up an enormous amount of resources for a long, long time.

Of course I get why they're doing it as FFVII is one of the most popular RPGs of all time, but my lord has this game been milked to death over the past twenty years. Is no one else sick of Cloud yet?

Same here. In a thread about the possibility of FF7R for Switch, someone joked about Switch getting the original FF7 in HD. I'd gladly take that in a heartbeat over FF7R.

By the time Part III comes out, you'll waiting for the remakes of the first two parts.

With how SE has been with their games these past couple of years, I think that is quite possible. They've taken their sweet time on their games, which while is good, just take to long to release.

Unless Metroid 4 is going through a BotW sort of development, I don't think it'll take tooo long for that to release. I'm not expecting FF7 for awhile though.
