Metroid Prime will release 2018 haven't you heard? They didn't show anything but the logo because they want to surprise everyone.

Oh, they actually confirmed a 2018 release?

Hell no, I was joking on the only Sony announces games too much before release.

Yea, you might want to check out this link.  On average, the games MS announces actually take about a month and a half longer than Sony's to launch.  Which is impressive on Sony's part, since they have announced more than twice as many as MS has.  So, do you want to drop the false narrative?  Or continue to be off topic?

You proved my point lol. I said "Yeah but Nintendo and Microsoft are better at showing games that are releasing sooner than Sony." and that shows that 63 of Sonys games arent out while only 32 of the games MS shown arent out yet. 63 games is far larger than 32 game

How can Sony announcing, releasing and also about to release all being double MS proves you right? So we can also say MS have no games because Sony released double than they? But way to go to choose the only metric were you could spin in your favor.

Sony would b wise to push their games into next year....

Ps4 line up for rest of 2017

Crash remake
Uncharted
GT SPORTS
AC origins
SW BF 2
Destiny 2

And those are just mega jaw dropping AAA IP , it's too many games they already dropped Horizon, and hadn't persona and Nioh out this year..... it's like a huge line up, similar to 2015

This.
Exactly for this crampacked gamelineup, are Sony scoping their next AAA first party titles for H1-2018. Just like this year, when AAA games came out early this year. I think their strategy pays off, because the H2 and holidays are typical release times for third party AAA games. Would otherwise be overcrowded. And since Sony has marketing deals with most of these games, they don't need to push it further. Smarter move to keep thier prime games for 2018, when it is probably expected that MS will bring the game muscles to market.

Though doubt that TLoU2 will come in 2018. Already to crampacked with their games. Probably spring/summer 2019. Same strategy as 2018 and 2017.
And doubt that Halo6 will come next year. Nothing is announced yet.

From the time MS hires people to make new AAA games, and till they come to market = several years from now.

Sony has a solid launch strategy with their games I believe. Seems that spring is the new holiday season..

I do like to have new games along the year and buying they spreadout... my agreement with wife is to buy a new game about every 3 months.

Oh yea?  Let's look at MS's E3s.

2013:  Below - Cancelled
            Halo 5 - Released in 2015
Quantum Break - Released in 2016

2014: Below - Cancelled
           Crackdown 3 - Releasing in 2017
           Fable Legends - Cancelled
           Inside - Released in 2016
Phantom Dust - Released in 2017
Quantum Break - Released in 2016
           Scalebound - Cancelled

2015: Ashen - TBD (Most likely cancelled)
           Below - Cancelled
           Cuphead - Releasing in 2017
           Fable Legends - Cancelled
Gigantic - TBD (Most likely cancelled)
Sea of Thieves - Releases in 2018

2016: Scalebound - Cancelled
Sea of Thieves - Releases in 2018
Edit: Forgot State of Decay 2 - Releases in 2018

So, yea.  Care to say that, again?  And I'm sure I could do the same for Nintendo.  Really if anyone is trying to attribute this solely to Sony, they should be reported for trolling and moderated for it.

You should really do more research. Below and Ashen aren't cancelled. So who's spreading false narrative now?

Edit: Lmao neither is gigantic.

Not that many remember both games, but if they aren't cancelled one will be over 5 years to release after announcmente.

How many unreleased games they have is literally the least important statistic in there pertaining to what the arguments here is.lol

Sony also has 207 released games compared to 92 of MS'. The only thing that matters here and proves you wrong is that on average games announced at Sony's events take 13.10 months to release, while games announced on MS' stages take 14.54 months to release on average. The fact that Sony's output is over 2 times that of MS' just shows how incompetent MS is compared to Sony.

The number of unreleased games does matter yo my comment.  Sony has shown more unreleased gamez than MS that makes Microsoft better at showing games that are releasing because they have less games unreleased than Sony. Saying it's the least important statistic is taking my comment out of context.

Lol what are you even talking about dude. Sony shows more games that's cool but they also show more unreleased games.

Yes... because showing 100 games and not releasing 2 is "showing more unreleased games" than showing 2 games and not releasing 1, it makes so much sense.

Gravity Rush 2, Nioh, Horizon, Nier, persona 5, MLB, Wipeout, Next Machina, Crash trilogy(first half 2017), Materfall, Hellblade, Knack 2, Nino kuni 2, yakuza, Uncharted, GT spotrts..( second half). so i agree Sony has no games because they don't coming the Fall

Seriously Now, people that Say, Like Phill X, Sony Show games without release dates is wrong. All the games has release window two years after the first time we show them, On Last of us 2 ND start working after the U4 On 2016, Kojimas Death strading the same year, How some people expect those games comes this year or next? or be on E3 2017, both games is set for 2019. I m not suprise if both go 2020 especialy Kojima because he starts from zero. shemue 3 the same the developers has too much resposibility for those money they get that noone must expect earlier than 2019. The only games that is very late and we don't know since 2015 is Wild and Dreams, and Final Fantasy 7

Yeah Blame Sony that give all the time to developers and don't give us early crappy games.

Edit: Lmao neither is gigantic.

Below was delayed indefinitely since the company who was making it was focusing on other things.  With MS's current record on exclusives, I'm going to say that is as good as cancelled.

I guess Ashen has had some updates I haven't read about.  Supposedly it comes out in 2018.  Still helps my case, since that is 3 years since the reveal.

Gigantic had its Beta launch in 2015.  I haven't seen anymore updates on it since then.  So, even if it releases in 2018, that'll be 3 years since the reveal, as well.  Still helps my case.
