Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Phil Spencer, a hypocrite?

Phil Spencer recently said that "We don't want to show a trailer for things that are 2-3 years away"

So:

- Quantum Break, first shown in 2013, release April 2016

- Cuphead, first shown at E3 2014. Release, Q3 2017

- Sea of Thieves, first shown at E3 2015, Release: Early 2018

- Crackdown 3, first shown iat E3 2014, Release November 2017

Scalebound, first shown in 2014, cancelled January 2017

- Fable Legends, first shown in 2013, cancelled 2016

Did we have another thread with this title before? Or is my memory just a little off? Anyways, yeah, that's unfortunately how PR works.

All those things lie in the past, maybe he learned from it?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Everybody be obsessed with Phil!

Pocky Lover Boy!

You forgot Fable Legends, which would appear on both Xbox and Windows 10, which was announced in 2013 and cancelled in 2016.

And for which I'm still absolutely livid for. The closure of Lionhead will for me forever be associated with Microsoft (along with the closure of Ensemble).

That certainly is true for everything console. Change is scary.
