As for being on old content, how old is the content you're on?

I am still on ARR 1st patch or so and lvl 50. Killing Good king Moggle (hard) right now.  I seem to have over 30 hours of content just to catch up to Stormblood.

You do. Heavensward should be treated like an entirely new game, because it has the same content as any new release. If you want to just power through the story you can probably get there that quickly.

I wouldn't worry about rushing through it. Just enjoy it as the story unfolds. That said, you can unlock Red Mage and Samurai right away if you have a level 50 character. Reason to get the expansion despite being far back.

Yeah instead I will use Samurai as my reward for hitting lvl 70 on my first class. Also I don't feel the need to buy the xpac until right before lvl 60, just to make sure my xp is efficient.

I just hope I can progress my class soon with Heavensward, the new Stormblood changes made things pretty boring for low levels.

Can't imagine it being nice

All the sand will just make it unbearable. The sand sticks to your sweaty body as pieces of gravel enter your butt and genitals. Gravel in the tip of my junk doesn't sound that neat if you ask me. Also, crabs and whatnot are everywhere. Blegh. Add in the smell of fish, but I'm sure you'll already smell the scent of fish if you go down on a girl.

Just go at night and on other people's hobies. Problems solved.

Currently I'm playing Final Fantasy 7 (PC) and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (3DS).

I've got Phantasy Star 4, Final Fantasy 8, and Final Fantasy 9 on PC to play, as well as Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros on 3DS, Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360 and Tokyo Mirage Sessions on Wii U. I'll try to get through some of them over the next couple of months.

It's possible I'll add some Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia dlc and Ever Oasis to that small pile of JRPGs. Plus, the Steam sale starts tomorrow...

I am just playing World of Final Fantasy.

Not sure what's next, I guess Crash/Dragon Quest Heroes II, after those maybe DQ builders/KH games. Also would like to play Yakuza and Lego City undercover.

Persona 5 is one of those games I probably will not play even when I was a crazy Persona fan with a Persona avatar on VGChartz for 10 years.

For a check on your progression, you can use this guide. If you're Good King Mog, then you're just at the end of The Realm Awoken (Patch 2.1). It should take you ~6-8 hours to rush through the rest of the A Realm Reborn content before arriving in Ishgard. I really enjoyed that part of the story .
