Welcome to the Summer of Japanese Role Playing Games

Summer is the time where we hang out with friends, camp fires, sex on the beach, catching fire flies by the lake. Forget that junk, this Summer is all about JRPGs!!! I did this a few years back when I was in school (no job). It was the Summer and all I wanted to do was game and beat some long winded jrpgs. I managed a decent chuck,but I wasn't satisfied. After starting a Xenoblade Chronicles today, I thought, why not dedicate my Summer to this wonderful, exhauting genre. 

It's simple just tell us what game you beat and maybe a little discussion and store throughout the Summer. Who knows, we could get some fun discussion in here.

It's not exactly summer per se, but half this whole year I played nothing but Final Fantasy games.

Also let me take this chance to suggest you play The Last Story after Xenoblade. I personally liked it much more than the later.

Final Fantasy fanboy

I think you forgot 15.. lol unless I'm tired af. 

And yeah I need to put down the ones I want to beat. Mostly Wii/Wii U JRPgs.. 

I added that one to my future list. lol. I doubt I'll get through all of them.. lol. But hoping to beat these two, plus maybe one on the future list...

FT job now

So far I'm really liking Xenoblade.. took me a few minutes to adjust my eyes to those graphics. Without spoilers... what was your main fault with Xenoblade? 

I mostly play shooters but in terms of JRPGS I'll be playing Fire Emblem Echos during the summer. Might go back and play the FFXV DLC that I got wit the season pass but I haven't played any of them yet.

Just finished Persona few weeks ago, next JRPG will most likely be Super Robot Wars 5.

Oh yeah, you're right. FFXV too. xD

Nothing really spoiler-ish. The combat system never clicked with me. The story wasn't bad but I kinda lost interest. At one point I simply stopped playing and never really got the itch to go back to it.
