Why has'nt anyone yet created a remaster or an earlier C&C game or made a new C&C game?

I was so fond of those games also the Red alert series. But especially the first C&C.

I mean EA smashed Westwood studios, and some then created Petroglyph. But none has made a new C&C game. Why?

There are still plenty of consumer interest in the series I predict and also into RTS games.

Blows my mind.

There are several reasons but the short one is: EA.

Maybe that EA wil make a terrible reboot and then i might die again .

Because you touch yourself at night.

EA killed C&C.

When I was growing up,I loved C&C:Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge and played it near everyday before school and when I got home. I tried out Generals and all the games that came after (including when they made Red Alert 3) but it was just different for me.

EA nailed the coffin on C&C when they released the poorly received C&C 4. THe story ended without a complete conclusion and the gameplay was terrible and tried to copy Dawn of War in terms of gameplay and turning resource gathering tiberium crystals and ore into capturing points on the map.

Also tossing in a unit cap for a PC only version was incredibly dumb.

I'd love to see a brand new C&C, but EA can't seem to be bothered to make anything specifically for PC after what happened with Sim City (Sims 4 being a step back from 2-3). They tried back in 2012 to make a new Generals, but even then they ended up cancelling the game and liquidating two studios.

Best they could do today is at least remaster all the old games and show support for higher resolutions with games like Generals (which I had to mod twice last night) as well as bringing the servers back for online play, as the only way to play C&C online currently is with a private group called C&C online.

I approve a new C&C.

I'd love to see another game, but hopefully somebody else can make it ...
