Microsoft easily won the show. It's painful for the media to admit so most sites aren't doing a 'best of E3 2017' thread on their sites they usually do soon after the show.

*New 'powerful' hardware
*More games and exclusives than the competition
*OG Xbox BC that adds more value to your console

I don't think it will translate into much really.
I remember when xbox one was getting more searches on google, we all know how that one ended.

Microsoft showcased a ton of multiplats, bit of timed exclusives and a handful of moderately anticipated exclusives. Any true gamer knows Sony has been beating Microsoft with exclusives all year. Hell... by the end of the year so will Nintendo. The only exclusive of note the Xbox has dropped of at least moderate note is halo war. It's obvious the tactic was to show so many games regardless of status that it will overwhelm the ones who don't think critically. At the end of the day the lionshare of what Microsoft showed will be multiplatform. They definitely had the most well prepared conference but it was also the most desperate.

I think Vasto just wants to be happy with something since he often posts about good thinks MS do in order to counter negative comments in the internet.

Perhaps that's a good idea. As much as Microsoft deserves skepticism their loyalist gamers are gamers like us and we should support their happiness. 

From what I understand, Microsoft's conference was among the longest. That might have contributed to it commanding so much buzz...

Microsoft did the minimum, considering they unveiled a new console, with its appearance, price and official name. If it generated less buzz than others it would be an embarassment.

Still Nintendo came pretty close. Would definitely like to see numbers from wii u, ps4 and xbox one unveiling, for comparison.
