But you can just get a PS4 Pro for a true 4k Console also... thats the problem with its price.

This E3 Sony showed nothing new so kind of expected. Yoshida said they did not showed everything the had for showing. Now, this could be because M$ E3 sucked so they did not need hype to maintain momentum, and they are saving the stuff for PSX in order to get hype before Christmas. Or because they don't want to show games 2 or more years before release.

For me this E3 was very disappointing.

At Gamescon they will show something new while announcing Detroid release date. At PSX they will show suckerpuncunch game for sure, announce GOW for march 2018, Days Gone for June 2018 while at TGS they will show Bloodborne 2/Phantom Whail; and other Japanese games.

very much this... I was talking about the Xbox x one x ex one box but I was talking about it in a "that name is idiotic" and "that price means DOA imo" sort of way.

The irony is that its using the same techniques as the PS4 Pro, and will have a range of Native and checkerboard games,.. . and you'll see more indie games hitting that 4k...... but apparently this is True 4K even though the Pro is doing *exactly* the same.

Anthem is not a Microsoft game. 

Microsoft said their game would be Native 4K and devs can use the console anyway they want.

Well only the Xbox 9 will feature the highest quality pixels and the potential of cloud computing can always be mentioned down the line when the console comes out and isn't actually running games in native 4k/60

– Battlefront 2 – EA (Social Reputation Score of 59.49)
– Borderlands – Take Two (58.84)
– Anthem – EA (58.83)
– Sea of Thieves – Microsoft (57.98)
– Destiny 2 0- Activision (57.14)

After reading all this I'm expecting xbox to outsell Playstation for 2017 and 2018. 

 

I'm also expecting titles like sea of thieves to outsell Spiderman.  If none of this happens it will represent a big under performance on MS'S part.
