Thank you MS. I hate seeing games i cant play for another 2 years. Unlike your competition who shows games that havnt even started development. Good decision to announce when there close. We dont want another Scalebound.
This year is looking good with 6 1st party titles coming in 2017. Keep up the good work and ignore the internet trolls. You were voted the best E3 for a reason.

Who decided they had the best E3? Im a litle lost here.

The sales. Owww sorry, no, some poll on the internet. Sales are irrelevant.

Cheaper to buy timed and the bulk of the impact is in the first weeks, so a year exclusive is quite sufficient.

But sure, they could invest in buying the studio (but some have analysed that is more cost efficient to buy timed than to buy studio). Funny enough I remember users saying that MS invested so much on 1st party studios in the beggining of the gen that they would output more 1st party than Sony. But we basically saw none of it.

Yeah that's true, I doubt they're bothered about these timed exclusives going to Sony/Nintendo after a certain amount of time anyway, since they're already had the hype and sales for themselves... although in some cases they've done this, and the games have sold better on the latter consoles anyway, but I doubt they're bothered, they've still made money, and that's what matters to a business.

I don't remember anyone saying that, although if that's the case, it's definitely an interesting one considering their output so far, lol.

Imagine that both versions released together, then it would had greatly outsold theirs, and that would help less on HW sales.

Well I can't say the name because it's against the rules, and it was pre gen so all crazy ideas were flying.

What does sales have to do with who had the better E3? Are you joking? 60m gamers will be preordering PS games annoucned at E3 while only 30m can pre-order Xbox games. (Do you think over 1 E3 conference that console user base disappears?) omg face palm.

If they both had the same console sale figures and user base than sure maybe we can look at sales as to who won at E3.. and even still Sales does not represent quality.

It's really telling when he doesn't mention a name or genre or studio

I understand some people would say, ‘Hey, that would give me confidence in the future of Xbox’…

This is a cheesy line, but I’ll just say, trust that this is important to us as a platform. From the top CEO of the company down, if you talked to Satya [Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO] he would say ‘I understand, we need to invest in content in the gaming space’.

Honestly, this right here makes me think that he's trying to get pressure on Satya Nadella to invest more in content.

Yet Switch is outdoing X1 on sales (HW and SW position on Amazon).

And having zero real exclusives, and just a small quantity of AAA platform exclusives sure makes one win an E3, making all Sony fans dirt their pants right?

Public exposing and pressuring your boss like that isn't a good idea.

This guy man. He said this 2-3 years ago...

...I have little reason to believe otherwise.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

If you havent notice, Nintendo games sell better than both Xbox and Sonys period even with a bad E3 conference. There Nintendo games. Heck Zelda sold more games than actual Switches. Bottom line is votes claim people were happy with MS's event. New hardware, new Hardware features, lots of games and acouple suprises. Sure we can debate this over and over the internet, its personal preference on VGcharts and alot of brand loyality. Something i dont take serious on here because gamers will claim anything is better based on there platform of choice.

Again Sales does not determine better. VW Beetle is the best selling car in the world, it outsold the Ford Model T. Does that mean the Beetle is the best car ever made? No.

You are basing all your argument on one single poll. That agrees with your narrative, so don't push a point to then deflect and say each will use it as they see fit.

Yes people were happy with MS event, and most probably didn't even noticed that basically all that was show on MS show will be present on PS4 while several of the games on PS4 presentation won't go to X1. And sorry, but I do care about results. So if the E3 don't result in more sales then iit was just wasted money. Or does MS runs a NGO?

Yes sales determine better, not the one that is better to your taste, but better at attending customer need and perception. So yes Bettle is a better car than a Ferrari in several ways. But to someone that doesn't see that a marketing purpose on "winning" is selling more I wouldn't hope to understand this.
