Not a big surprise, honestly.
They might need these ports anyway, without a lot of third party support they're gonna need Wii U ports to fill in gaps IMO.
Smash, Mario 3D World, DKC: TF next year.
I thought I was gonna be safe from Smash due to not being announced at E3, now I'm scared again, give me new games Reggie like Splatoon 2 and Xenoblade 2.

Seriously. Forget the salty fans- if it means more people get to enjoy legendary games such as Mario Kart or Mario Maker, then so be it

Don't think that will happen anytime soon. It seems to me as if MonolithSoft is going to be preoccupied with two different Xeno series (Xenoblade and Xenoblade X.) Although I guess the Kyoto team can make it, if they are given their own games to make rather than just helping out with other Nintendo titles.

“The way I see it,” says Takahashi, “I feel as though Xenoblade 1 and 2 are connected and linked in the sense that they're linear and story-driven games, whereas Xenoblade Chronicles X was more focused on open world and exploration, and maybe an online aspect. I feel like I'd like to continue to create games separating those two aspects out.”

I don't think it will happen soon or ever either, is just the little dream I keep alive every year
Screw that, makes sequels. If you guys really wanted Wii U games you should've bought a Wii U.
