Just got LA Noire.

I hope there are a bunch of new third party announcements over the coming months now that Switch has proven itself to not be another Wii U, otherwise I might be stuck on 1 game for some time.

The society does not accept any new members from here on out.
I want to remain in the top 100 without having to buy third party games.

I don’t get it.

On the one hand you buy FE Warriors, a game in a genre with (imo) the most repetitive and boring gameplay imaginable, on the other hand even Cave Story+, Axiom Verge or WayForward‘s Mummy Declassified aren’t up your alley?

Fire Emblem Warriors doesn't count as third party game.

I have Cave Story on Wii and the game sucked butt; no amount of updates can save that underwhelming mess. I have Axiom Verge on Wii U where it released only a year ago and the Switch version has nothing new. The Mummy Demastered looks like a WayForward game that isn't worth the initial asking price; solid, but short game; kinda like Alien Infestation on the DS.

I know that FE:W doesn‘t count for this thread, I mentioned it because I don‘t understand why you with your self-proclaimed high standards bought this game. Is the warriors genre a guilty pleasure for you?

Your explanations about the other games are what I expected. I imagined that you would at least try or consider these games.

R.B.I. Baseball 2017, Lego City Undercover, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3 & Metal Slug X.

There's a pretty good variety of Japanese games of varying sizes that have been announced fairly recently but I too hope for more western ones.  I wouldn't be shocked at all to see even more from Bethesda.  Fallout 4 comes to mind.  Another very likely port is GTAV, assuming Rockstar can be assed because sometimes they can just be dicks about bringing games over to certain platforms.  I think there's a lot of others that could work but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't mind if they're Japanese or Western personally. I'll be getting Wolfenstein II, (unless it's a terrible port) but I'd just as soon buy a proper Switch Monster Hunter, or Bayonetta 3. I usually purchase a fairly even mix of the two.

Although I personally wouldn't buy them, GTA 5 and Overwatch should definitely be ported to Switch.

Do you like fighting games?  BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is coming to Switch early next year.  Personally, I'm hoping Dragon Quest XI doesn't just come out on Switch fairly early in the year, but comes west within 2018.  I very much look forward to seeing that.

Nah fighting games aren't really my cup of tea.

Update 3:

Stardew Valley

Between, Darkest Dungeon, the Flame in the Flood, Axiom Verge, Oxenfree, The Sexy Brutale, Shakedown Hawaii and the Physical version of Retro City Rampage I barely know what Indie game to get next and then there's still Mario vs. Rabbits, Super Mario Odyssey and DOOM to get. My poor, poor wallet.

Update 4:

Mario+Rabbits (finally...)

Update 5:

Retro City Rampage DX Collectors Edition.
