My copy of "Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match DX" finally came in the mail. My first physical import for the Switch. The Southeast Asia region copy has English subtitles.

Love the anime, but how's the game?

Pixel Junk Monsters 2

Been a while since I posted so I am going to probably have some listed that I already said before. I should stay more on top of this thing:

Fall of Light (digital).
Tetris 99 (is that one third party?).
Drowning (digital).
Stray Cat Doors (digital).

I'm enjoying it greatly.  I honestly haven't seen the anime, and I've been holding off on watching it on my Hulu now until I play through the story mode of the game first since it does relive battles from the source material.  There appears to be a ton of in-game content between Story Mode (re-enacts battles from the anime), Extra Battle (playout various battles inspired by the anime, as well as exclusive missions in a variety of challenges i.e. Domination match, Capture the Flag tank, Advance to Destination, etc), Free Battle (choose your own tank and crew, etc), Panzerfahren Festival (a tournament battle mode that I haven't tried yet).  There is tons of different tanks, tank commanders, tank crews, and tank customizations to unlock by playing through the story and extra battle modes.  The tanks handle as you would expect a tank too (once you get a full head of steam you aren't going to stop on a dime or make hairpin turns, but the controls aren't wonky or unresponsive either), and the combat is satisfying.  I've probably sunk about 5 hours into the game in the short time I've had it, which in terms of my game time means I'm hooked.  It's also one of those games that is perfect for portable play (if that is something of value to you with the Switch as it is with me) due to the segmented nature of the story and extra battles.  If you love the anime and enjoy tank combat, I do recommend this.

Well, gonna have to look out for the game now. Being in the Philippines right now should make it easier to find, though.

It's been awhile since I updated - and seeing how Ganoncrotch looks to be catching up to me, it's time to pull the rug out from underneath him and dash any hopes he has of catching me...

Alright. I know I'm a week behind on the update. I'll be posting numbers up to March 1 either tomorrow or Sunday. The rest, alas, will have to wait for the April 1 update. And no, it's not because I don't want to deal with TalonMan's update. Okay, it's not entirely about that. Okay... it's entirely about that. ;)
