the demo offers a fairly big chunk of game to test out, I personally was sick of the added dash and phase mechanics before the end of the demo stages so I won't be buying it.

It's not even in the same league as meat boy imo

I never really got into Meat Boy enough to have an opinion on it but Slime-San is a steal for the price it is now. It has a ton of content. There’s even a shop that changes your playstyle (like being able to dash twice but no second one or vice versa). I’d say go for it.
