Sigh

Again. People were calling out him for its PS4 outselling 3DS+WiiU prediction, not the cold numbers he gave. Hence people estimating 50 M and 100 M for Wii U and 3DS respectively. In any moment you see someone pointing his 100 M prediction for PS4 as nonsensical for being way to early to tell.

Right now with Switch, people are mocking and doubting the+80M  numbers that some users are using for its LT sales predictions.

If there's someone making a prediction like: "Switch will outsell PS4+X1" then it could be a comparable situation with his thread.

I guess it's pretty clear now what I am trying to say.

Famous last words "that ll never happend"

10 years lateron, someone necrobumps this post after the Switch went onto sell like 170m units.

I get it though. Very unlikely switch does that well.

Probably by the end of the year unless 3DS sales skyrocket thanks to Metroid and USUM

Glad to see that my thread is also educating some people about the "gaming console" and "console generation" definitions. For the stubborns, don't you worry, one day you'll see the light.

I assume 16 was meant to be 17.

Oh my. Year's passage always confuses me

Update with numbers

3DS launched in early 2011 making it six years old.

PS4 launched in late 2013 making it four years old by the Holidays.

If you align launch years PS4 is already ahead.

Right, but what this has anything to do with the thread?
