It looked fun but hardly best game at E3. I think ashen and super lucky tale looked much better. But that's because I'm old and love platformers.

And yes it might be a remake but shadow of the colossus is going to look amazing on big ass tvs. Just imagine walking into Best Buy and browsing the tvs on display and that game is being demoed on it. That and god of war will look stunning. They already do.

Mario odyssey also looks Amazing.
Anthem, Metro, and wolfenstien also were beautiful.

But yes there were way more games that looked better than sea of thieves. Sorry :(

I do love the look of this game. It's not the most "impressive" if we're talking about pure graphics or level of detail but I appreciate a sense of elegance when it comes to art style. Sea of Thieves was very aesthetically pleasing in that regard. So was Mario Odyssey. But Anthem was probably the most impressive from what I saw.

If you can't pillage and plunder, are you a pirate? Sea of thieves certainly looks a lot of fun.

Anthem was easily the best looking game though.

You keep making these silly remarks about the closers at these conferences... it's like you need a daily reminder that Sony has showcased third party multiplats before, even shitty ones like Paragon and Andromeda LOL. As for there being a reason SoT wasn't the closer, companies typically save surprises or reveals for last. SoT has been around for years.

Regarding sales, who gives a flying fuck? Furious 7 is one of the top ten grossing movies of all time. Does that mean I have to enjoy it, or that it's automatically better than something like Birdman? Or The Revenant? No. Hell, Call of Duty obliterated anything Sony put out last year and it launched in November. I guess they should stop bothering to release games.

Best looking does not have to mean from a technical stand point. As Altaro said the Art Style is really good and that is was most gamers see.

This guy clearly said he saw Skull And Bones and thought it looks alright but he loves Sea Of Thieves. 

Some people feel a game like Zelda Breath Of Wild looks better than Horizon Zero Dawn.

Has anyone known what the actual point of this game is? Or was what was shown at E3 it.

There are certainly intriguing elements to the game and with a group of friends it should be a great amount of fun, but the quest they showed at the MS conference left me unconvinced.

"art is in the eye of the beholder" - personally I'd value Ori2, The Last Night, Anthem, Ni no Kuni 2 or Ashen higher than Sea of Thieves in that regard, but SoTs water shader sure is a beauty.

Better than Anthem? Detroit? spiderman? god of war? Metro? Mario Oddessey, Yoshi Switch, Mario x Rabbits, Ori 2.
