"Targeting 30fps"

Aren't MH games always 60fps?

the 3DS versions (MH 4) runs at likr 30-48 fps, when soloing and not doing too much.

Once stressed it typically drops under 30fps.

If they can keep a smooth stable 30fps, it ll be a upgrade over what the 3DS gave.

Im pretty sure MH4U was 60(at least on New?)

But Gen was locked 30

But have you seen digital foundries fps test of the game?

the 3DS MH4 runs like sub 30 fps at times when its stressed, and usually no more than 50 when its not.

Maybe they say its 60fps, but in practis it doesnt seem to hit that on the 3DS.

And here I thought, that Japan values the Handheld feature way higher than playing on a fixed console at home.

Maybe seeing Monster hunter look like this changes things.... this could be a big boost to PS4 sales in japan.

Can you tell a differnce?

Yes, one of them is ingame and the other one is pre-rendered.

So capcom confirmed to Dengeki today that world is actually MH5 developed by the main team.

It actually makes sense not releasing this on Switch next spring. Like the milking of the series on Nintendo platforms would be too damn high.

MHX, mh stories, MHXX all on the 3DS in a short period aswell as MHXX on Switch. The last thing they need is world on the Switch early next year.

It makes more sense to make a portable version (P/G/X) and release it on Switch/PS4 in Japan either late 2018 or early 2019.

I can already see this game failing to meet Capcom's expectations. And the fault is going to be yours people for not buying the game!

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

EVERYTHING about this game sounds and looks AWESOME. So hyped. Goodbye life.

Also, seems Capcom decided to pursue the western audience with this game, and will probably keep releasing portable MH games in Japan on the Switch. Since the partnership with Nintendo seems to be broken, MH games on Switch will not be published in the west. Major bummer.

I'm less worried but it still feels like they screwed over Nintendo fans to make this happen

It was Sony who has screwed over Nintendo fans. The same way Nintendo screwed over Sony fans earlier with MH Tri and the 3DS games.

The jump to Nintendo always sounded like it was Capcom's choice, like they simply preferred to release the series on Wii and later the 3ds. World and this XX ordeal feels like a huge dick move by Sony and Capcom is going along for the ride. Stuff like this needs to stop happening, it was shitty when tomb raider did it, it was shitty when street fighter did it and now it's shitty when monster hunter did it
