Report: The Hideo Kojima And Konami Saga Seems Endless

Kojima Productions, Nikkei reports, is supposedly having trouble joining the Kanto IT Software Health Insurance Association with its application apparently being refused. Over 7,000 companies are part of this association, which offers discounted health insurance to tech industry workers as well as hotel, restaurant, and gym discounts. Konami is reportedly a big player in this association, with its sports clubs participating in the program. When asked regarding the matter, the Kanto IT Software Health Insurance Association is quoted by Nikkei as saying, “We are unable to comment on this issue.”

Wow. Just when I begin to think that shit stain of a company can't get any worse (how many times have people said this? I've lost count), they CONTINUE to outdo themselves.

KOJIMA is sullying the reputation of your company? Motherfuckers, you fucking did that yourselves. Good to know that Pachinkonami continues to prove that they have balls of steel, they're the Donald Trump of the videogame industry.

Seriously, denying ex-employees health insurance, WTF? Oh wait, this is the same company that reassigns their developers to janitorial jobs, cancels hyped AF games (Silent Hills, MGSV Part III), sits on beloved IPs and slaps em on whorehouse slot machines, locks up their own employees, kept Kojima from attending and receiving his own award at the VGAs, scams Steam players with last-gen ports (PES 2016), microtransactions their games, turns beloved stealth-action franchises into generic survival zombie games, etc. Nothing they do surprises me at this point.

No wonder Metal Gear Survive wasn't shown at E3 like they reportedly wanted, no company in their right mind would touch that joke of a game with a 10,000 foot pole.

Seriously, fuck those pieces of shit. I hate Konami with a burning passion, and well, I guess it burns even deeper now. This'll make for an interesting "Fuck Konami News" segment on the Jimquisition in due time.

For the upteenth time (which honestly can't be repeated enough), #FucKonami. They can go straight to hell.

For reals.

Assholes.

Japanese culture is based on honour and they hate being shamed or humiliated. Kojima shamed Konami by ridiculing the new MGS game they were developing. Openly talking about your ex-employee is a big no-no in Japanese culture.

Yes, it's petty, but no, I'm not surprised.

konami has no japanese honor. Without the best people from the old "metal gear solid"-team (hideo kojima, yoji shinkawa & many more) they are nothing, their current games are a joke. And this news is very sad.

The real question is: what did Kojima do? Why does Konami hate him so much?

Holy moly. I would hope that Kojima and his staff have some type of legal recourse to counter this. Shady.

That's not true actually. The Japanese aren't much different from us Americans. I see this a lot and i'm not sure why. A lot of people tend to make assumptions of the Japanese, that end up being false.

I don't think you've ever been to Japan if you think they're like Americans.
