I do not have a problem with a new studio working on the title. As long as it stays a FPS, or FPA rather, keeps the themes and has the same director then there is hope. My one worry is that we have had some elements that do not feel Metroid since MP1&2. I'm hoping those changes do not influence the direction. The feel of Breath of the Wild gives me hope though. |
I hope MP4 becomes Metroid's own BoTW because I really don't see Metroid taking off in this day and age without being a non linear open world game. Metroid Prime is the game this new team should take as a basis and expand upon it just like BoTW expanded on the original Zelda and reinvented itself.
