Debate makes the world go frown.

Sorry Living I don't mean to be a dick about this but if a game is on X and Y then it isn't exclusive to either of those things, there is no debating it, it's on 2 platforms.

It's why I enjoyed the Sony conference is because the word exclusive didn't even need to be said at it, when you see a Sony first party game you know that is only on the PS4, you know that you got another reason for owning the system you bought as well as all of the third party games which appeared on the MS show basically.

Wasn't sure if this was meant as satire though because like I said, if you have a game on 2 platforms then the game isn't exclusive to either of those.

My last statement was a joke, but I understand your concern.  Unfortunately, the console wars have gotten too passionate, and "we" do tend to align ourselves with console companies more than we do with consoles, blinding us to the possibility of not seeing the bigger issue.  It is true that Persona 5 isn't exclusive to the PS4 because it's also on the PS3.  But it is exclusive to a Sony console.  So that doesn't help either Microsoft or Nintendo, giving "ammo" to the Sony fanboy.  This is moreso the context of my original post.

I'm fairly sure "we" have never aligned with a company over a good game :) Hope it's visible here the red switch games as well as the GC and X360 titles.

Just a snap of the shelf to my left haha.

Because not everyone has a gaming PC. The logic of Xbox haters is that apparently every single PC will play games at the same quality of an Xbox One is absolute crap. My pc has Windows 10 and it can't even play  Alan Wake which is a is like an 8 year old game. Also, if PC was the go to gaming system for everyone, every PC game would obliviorate PS4 and Xbox game sales, yet they never do.

The point being, if, for example, a catalog of games builds up for the "exclusive console", why would one invest in a $500 Xbox when for just a bit more(if needed) you can play all of it's games + do whatever a PC does?

How many people actually hook up their PC to their TV.  I have a gaming PC but I have absolutly no wish to put it in my living room hooked up to my PC.  If anything that would be the last thing I would do because i use it for work as well.  So when people say, why would I invest in a 500 xbox my reason is because my PC is regulated as a PC not a home entertaiment system.

Disagree.

Horizon: Zero Dawn
Gravity Rush 2
Wipeout Omega Collection
Yakuza 0
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8
Kingdom Herats 1.5 + 2.5 HD
Final Fantasy XII: HD
Digimon World: Next Order
MLB The Show 17
Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy
Nioh
Persona 5
Uncharted: Lost Legacy
Gran Turismo Sport
Everybody's Golf
Knack 2
Hellblade

These games are all actual exclusives, none of them on pc, and these titles all released or are releasing in 2017.

Wipeout games in that collection are on PS3 and Vita

Yakuza 0 is also on PS3

Digimon is also on Vita

Persona 5 is also on PS3

A remaster is not a true exclusive. The remaster is but the game overall isn't exclusive.

Hellblade is also coming to PC

Don't think Digimon is on vita this year

If they want my money, release games that I can't buy on PC...

Don't they get your money whether you buy it on PC or console? It's still a sale.

To me it is, because I hate gaming on PC and phones.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

So buy an objectively inferior option to avoid a minor inconvience?  Nonsense.  In a case where one is forking over that kind of cash, you're gonna want to move some things around to make it work best for you.  Also you could, idk, just play it on your monitor(s)?

So if a game is on the Vita and PS4 then it would not be exclusive because its on two different platforms.  I believe that is a little to much black and white.  The word exclusive means different things to different markets.  If you purchase every game from the Win10 Store, from a Win10 Machine, I am sure MS believe you are in the Microsoft eco system and thus contribute to their botton line.  Is this any different if you purchase a cross by game on the PS Vita or the PS4.  2 Different platforms still same eco system and company.

In this case MS has two platforms that they want to exploit.  They want you to upgrade or purchase Win10 and use their Win10 store as well as their services for games.  It matters not if you believe you are not on their platform but really you are.  MS also have their console same situation either way you pay into their bottom line and help grow their marketshare in both spaces.

As for Sony conference, they really only have the PS4 so why would the need to say anything.

Eh. nah. As soon as it's on steam I can play it on my mac (yes, the magic of vitualization) it's reaaally not an xbox exclusive anymore.

Well, if you cannot play natively on Mac, you still need a Windows environment. So, it is MS exclusive.

To be honest it really isn't and MS is trying so hard to force that idea.
