For me it goes Sony > Nintendo > PC > Microsoft > Ubisoft > EA > Bethesda

Sony announcements I am excited for: Destiny 2, Spider-Man, Horizon DLC, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Anthem (via Microsoft conference), Detroit, DragonBall FighterZ (via Microsoft conference)

Nintendo announcements I am excited for: Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade 2, and Kirby.

PC games I am excited for: Wargroove, Griftlands, The Last Night, BattleTech, Age of Empires Definitive Edition, State of Decay 2 (via Microsoft conference)

MS games I am excited for: Cuphead

Guys, Nintendo is still announcing stuff.A new 2D Metroid that looks fucking awesome was announced for 3DS.Hold for the end of E3 to decide this

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

From a market/sales POV - Sony won

From a game diversity POV - Microsoft won

For Metroid fans - Nintendo won

Sony, because the biggest AAA-Games, PSVR-Things and the most Games. My favorite Trailer is Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Spiderman looks awesome and Ni No Kuni 2 Release in november.

Nintendo is not the winner, because many new games coming not for switch: The Evil Within 2, DragonBall Fighters Z, Code Vein, Assassins Creed Origins and Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, Marvel vs Capcom, new Metro, Monster Hunter World, hack//G.U. Last Recode, Tropico 6, Anthem ect.

I think the biggest thing for Nintendo that many are overlooking given there was no presentation was that guy from Gamefreak saying that "a mainline Pokemon RPG is in development for the Switch". It's likely to come out in a couple years or so, which seems perfectly timed to boost a potential slump in sales after hype dies down.

Otherwise, I'm not a fan of CGI trailers. The fact that they're planning a 2018 release for Metroid 4 (even if that proves to be overly ambitious) suggests to me that they're probably pretty far along in the process and plan for this to be their big 2018 seller.

For the first i think everyone expects Pokemon to be released on the Switch (its not like they even have another new platform to put it on hence why i wasnt impressed by that news), and yes it will be glorious (ive been waiting for a "console" mainline Pokemon game since forever), but without nothing to show me not even a CGI trailer i cant be hyped, and just like you im not a huge fan of CGI trailers but they are better than nothing and they do at least give you a taste of the cocept and style of the game.

VR, Indies, great multiplats and great and diverse AAA true exclusives. Gotta give it to Sony.

(Why do I need to use the word 'true' sigh)
