Who won?

Microsoft 244 8.59%

Nintendo 1,837 64.64%

Sony 761 26.78%

Total:2,842

In terms of Anouncements Nintendo got Metroid Prime 4 (though honestly they didnt even had a CGI trailer to show...) and a new Yoshi game, thats two new big games for their platform and one of them is a big deal (almost megaton i guess, though believe it or not i was expecting it), honestly SOTC and Monster Hunter got me more hyped BUT because one of them isnt exclusive and the other is just a remake (not a new game) im gonna give the victory to Nintendo.

Also this year was weird for me because none of the conferences really blew me away but there were some good anouncements:

SOTC Remake
Monster Hunter Worlds (finally we can play MH on other platforms),
Metroid Prime 4
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Anthem
.Hack//G.U Remaster

So an announcement, without ANY footage, like at all, is enough for Nintendo to win? Smh

Apparently all it takes is words to hype them up. lol

Words can be powerful. Fans have been dying for a new Metroid Prime for many, many years and after Other M, Federation Force and plenty of talk and speculation about Metroid getting put on hiatus this announcement means a whole lot for Metroid fans, even if the announcement was all we really got. A Pokémon RPG has been on many wishlists for even longer. If it was Luigi's Mansion 3 or Pikmin 4 you wouldn't have seen these reactions.

And I'm certain that if Ubisoft had announced Beyond Good & Evil 2 like this they would had gotten much better reception, probably enough to be crowned winner of E3 by many, instead of the mixed reception they're getting now.

Yeah, I agree. Show us a freaking CGI teaser at least. Nintendo didn't win, plain and simple.

Ummm no, don't waste your time with that. CGI trailers are absolutely pointless, and honestly I find them more disappointing than not and would prefer they just wait for some gameplay footage.

I really think Nintendo guaranteed that the Switch will be a success by showing that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is indeed looking nearly complete (most including myself thought it was likely still a ways off), Super Mario Odyssey somehow looks even better than before (that hat trick is a brilliant idea), and most importantly, announcing a mainline Pokemon RPG is in development for the Switch. Throw in Metroid Prime 4 and the surprisingly-good-looking X-Com-esque Mario & Rabbids, along with those games which weren't mentioned but will be showcased (ARMS, Splatoon 2), and I have to say that Nintendo had the strongest showing this time around.

Still, I think Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all had strong showings for once (usually one drops the ball), and was pleasantly surprised by such a lovely Ubisoft showing that I'm almost tempted to pick them just based on the total 180 they've managed to pull.

Keep salty. Ninty won and no matter how mad you are. They will still be on top. 😎

When it's Metroid?  Yes.

Yup , this is a lackluster e3 for everyone. It says something when UBISOFT had the best show.

Guys just stop. All you're doing is proving my point.

Nintendo, but they didn't impress. Halfway in I was feeling all the good vibes, but after the conference I'm not so sure. Xenoblade 2017, pokemon versions for switch and metroid 4 is amazing. But no footage of those two. Still very much excited, but it would be 10 times better if we got to see it. The mario trailer was fantastic, at the same time, for a second I thought we were getting a dinasaur game from nintendo, something that I've been hoping for.

Too much time spent on zelda and nothing really from third party. Where's netflix, where's hbo and so on? Kirby and yoshi really isn't interesting at all.

So yeah, actually not all that happy about nintendos event, compared to my hopes and expectations. Still prefer it to the others though. Ubisoft was the most surprising though, I'll give them that!
