I woke up today to hear a bunch of pounding on my window. The sound of thunder was booming as I saw hail beating up the window next to my bed.

I remove my curtain, only to see rain drizzling, huge chunks of hail falling, heavy fog, thunderstorms, and SNOW in 77 degree weather.

Sweet ol' minnesota I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯

That wasn't snow, it was graupel.

Thanks for pointing that out. It's the first time I've ever heard of graupel

But how is that even possible? Unless it was much colder up where the clouds were.

I was corrected. It was graupel, not snow.

Even then, it isn't the first time we've had hail and warm temperatures. Minnesota in general has very inconsistent weather. Our geographical location is probably why.

Hey, I've never heard of the word graupel before either, so I just learned that too!

Gotta thank poisonparadise for giving us a mini lesson on weather

It has been 30+°C here for days, and now it's suddenly hailing.

Hail is over, lightning now!

Another thunderstorm here as well. We needed water after the recent drought, but not this much. When it rains it pours! The weather has been pretty random so far, days over 30c followed by 17c and 11c nights. Last weekend the AC couldn't keep up while the week before we had to put the heating back on.

Climate change, who can dennied it?

34 years playing games.

Just coming out of one of the worst heatwaves here, was 35 degrees celcius here. It rarely passes 25 in the summer. Crazy hot, While I've been alive it has only gotten to 33 dgrees before. Apparently it was the highest temp in 40 years.

Yikes. I hope no one passed out from the heatwaves. 10 degrees makes a huge difference.

Too hot for VR gaming :(
