I was corrected. It was graupel, not snow.
Even then, it isn't the first time we've had hail and warm temperatures. Minnesota in general has very inconsistent weather. Our geographical location is probably why.

Gotta thank poisonparadise for giving us a mini lesson on weather
Another thunderstorm here as well. We needed water after the recent drought, but not this much. When it rains it pours! The weather has been pretty random so far, days over 30c followed by 17c and 11c nights. Last weekend the AC couldn't keep up while the week before we had to put the heating back on.

Yikes. I hope no one passed out from the heatwaves. 10 degrees makes a huge difference.
