Forums - Gaming Discussion - the first review of GTAIV

I don't know if the review is fake or not,but the guy had to take down the review from the videogaming247.com

 GTAIV receieved 9.3/10

anyways for the fans it's nice to read it,,,here is the review :

http://home.comcast.net/~infamousdd/CGReviews_-_Cam_Garish_Reviews_-_One_Review_at_a_Time.html

He believes that PS3 version runs better even though there is a 9-10 min installation necessary at the begining. He states that only PS3 gets the multiplayer splitscreen.

anyways let me know what you think

I seriously doubt this is real.

yea,I don't know how credible the review is,,but it's nice to hear that he believes this is the best in the series by a mile

From the "review":

"This review is based on early previews of the game. It may or may not reflect the final retail version, available 4/29/08."

Sorry its not a real review /thread.

Wait two to three weeks time for real reviews.

I heard about this yesterday and it got swiftly taken down at the advice of the legal concil or something. He claims the review is based on previews of the game so i don't know how he is able to come to any real conclusions. I think the most interesting thing is the comparisons he make between the ps3 and 360 versions. I've never heard of the 360 version having the option to install part of the game on the the hardrive. Also no split-screen on the 360 version also raises eye brows as i think its been made quite clear by rockstar that the games will be near identical. So it's probably bogus in my opinion but we will have to wait and see!

is this a credible site?

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

I believe the site is bollocks. both versions will be identical or Rockstar would be in trouble if they are not.

The review is a fake. Please lock this thread or edit the link so the guy doesn't get any more hits.

Cool review.
