Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Why is E.A so quiet on the Switch

They don't care about it.

Because they have no intention of giving it proper support? I thought this was a well established fact now after 4 generations running with shit support from this publisher, especially the last two gens were woeful.

Six generations before Switch, not four.

I'm willing to stand up for EA's GameCube support. Need for Speed was actually good back then. Nightfire was a decent bond game. The first two or three Harry Potter games were decent Zelda-ish adventure games. MVP Baseball was alright.

3 month isnt enough time for developers to change their minds.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

They weren't willing to bet on the console before launch, and even though it's turned out to be a success now they haven't had time to actually make anything for it yet. Probably nothing more complicated than that.

Who cares? EA doesn't make good games. You might as well ask why HBO isn't airing reruns of Honey Boo Boo. EA's shovelware is the last thing Nintendo needs right now. Shovelware hurts brand image. How many people do you know that bought a Wii, a few shovelware titles, and then flat out stopped buying Nintendo games? There's an entire generation of casuals that see Nintendo as a trash tier console developer, because that's the impression the Wii's shovelware gave them.

They made the mass effect triology though. Which where great games and do was dragon age inquisition.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Dragon Age and Mass Effect were both awesome games but... EA didn't make Mass Effect. Bioware did. EA just bought them out and published Bioware's games. With Andromeda they took most of the talent out of Bioware's development team, and moved them onto other projects.

They must not think that it's worth the effort putting the games onto the Switch, or ensuring that they're up to par with the other versions, simple as that.

Scorpio exclusives, because Tomb Raider lol.

EA is a publisher not a developer, the same goes for most Sony first party studio's and Sony. Most of not all where bought. While I agree Adromeda wasn't a good game, not having Bioware games is a bit of a loss.

Nintendo does need their sport titles. Other genres can be get somewhere else, but not the sports games.

Look at FIFA in Europe. Nintendo should have a FIFA NS bundle for the holidays.

If Nintendo put the effort in, they could make their own Sports title that would crush the sales of all other sports titles. Just look at how much Mario Kart annihilates the sales of other racing games.

They'd have to essentially build a large western studio from scratch just to handle sports games if they went that route.
