Well, I hope that the project that diminish the taxes from 72% to 9% pass on the Senate and solve the root of this problem

Even as I helped it by signing in, it'll just never pass, it doesn't make any sense for them.
We need to build actual roots with a strong movement to start even thinking about getting taxes cut, moderate taxes cut, by the way.

Might try by taking baby steps and pointing out that these super high taxes just lead to smuggling and pirating the games.

Getting the tax down in several steps like 72%>50%>35%>25% could be more efficient, as the higher-ups wouldn't think they'd loose so much tax income with such smaller steps instead of trying to jump right from an abysmal high 72% to a very low 9%

Also, how do you like Persona? I am interested. Is it as good as Persona 3? Or even P4 Golden?

I know you didn't ask me, but I'll be starting it today or tomorrow and I'll give you a heads up about my first impressions.

If it is not ask too much, make a thread with your review.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Oh yes, around 90% taxes in some products...

To like like a rich person in Brazil you gotta be a millionaire.

To live like a millionaire in Brazil you have to be a billionaire

That's rough... but I can relate. Argentina is the same.

I'm trying to help my mother to change her 10 year old car but it's hard. They are just too damn expensive.

Oh yes, Argentina. Or, how I call it: Brazil with less corruption and better apples.

It'll take a good while until I beat it, tho.

Well, just give me a fist impression after 2 or 3 hours then.

My favorite is Persona 3, I love the dark atmosphere, those coffins after midnight, so creepy. Feel so cold, so... desolate. Like a Junji Ito story almost.

That sucks for Brazilians. Hopefully, they can get a different politician in there to change the taxes on it. Gamers there could protest over it.

Oh man.. You have nooooooooooooooo idea of how screwed we are down here. We have like a ratio of 85% of corruption in politics and NO law is aproved unless it generates profit to someone powerful.

Persona 3 is leaps and bounds better than 4, is almost in my top 10.

Absolutelly! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I can almost taste it.

It´s soooo hard to be a console gamer in Brazil........
Today, I mostly buy used games, with very few exceptions - Breath of The Wild, Persona 5 and Fire Emblem Echoes are the only games I bought this year as new, and only after looking in a lot of retailers and online shops for lower prices, I mean... A LOT!
As for Nintendo, as someone mentioned here... yes, NC Games is importing and selling a few of their games but they´re not importing consoles and acessories. Basically, they´re doing the same thing they did before Gaming do Brasil made a contract with JVLA (official Nintendo distributor for L.A.) years ago.

I know, but I am thinking like Playtronic did back in the day, being all in it. Havint a E-Shop and all.

Also, how do you like Persona? I am interested. Is it as good as Persona 3? Or even P4 Golden?

Oh, man.... Playtronic was the best ever in this sense. They even managed to launch the first DKC in Brazil 2 days before the U.S.

I´m still new to the Shin Megami Tensei franchise,  but I´m in love with it: played all 3ds games and Strange Journey.  Persona 5 is my first try in this  sub-series and I´m still at the beggining. Loving every minute of it. I´m impressed with the presentation and soundtrack. Still need to go further in the game to have a better insight, but so far, seems like it was well worthy the purchase.
