Really can't think of a specific series I like lot less then I do now. As far as genre goes that one is easy I like sports games a lot less then I used to.

Tomb Raider. I just don't like the new direction. I like Lara Croft as a bad ass motherfucker. I don't need yet another cry-baby. We have enough of those. I also don't like all that Uncharted style gameplay. I liked the old games a whole lot better.

All the old Tomb Raider after the original one had terrible controls.  That is like saying you like the tank control RE better then the ones with RE4 style control.

My favourite RE is RE3. There you have it. There is more to a game than just controls. The old Tomb Raiders may have been a little clunky, but at least I could do whatever the hell I wanted. Nowadays I can only climb on certain spots that are all marked and stuff. There's barely anything left to explore in Tomb Raider games.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Yet enduring the tank control scheme to navigate through well crafted puzzles is still much better than the collectathon murder spree it is now. I still finished the last two Tombraider games yet they pale in comparison to the fun I had with TR1 and TR2. I enjoyed Anniversary a lot, yet it sold the least and we ended up with the reboot.

Not just a little clunky since all the games after the first one had terrible controls I didn't bother to beat any of them the original had good enough controls that I beat it a couple of times.

Probably AC. Though it's more on me than on them. If the latest AC was the first one I played I would most likely love it.

Tomb Raider - it's one of my Top 5 IPs (with more then 3 games)...well, until that doppelganger dreck of the Reboot. I'd be fine if it was called something else and not TR, it's descent cover shooter, but it fails miserably in everything that should actually make it TR game. And new Lara is just embarrassing.

Fallout - FO1/2 are one of my favourite games and they still stand the test of time. I somewhat enjoyed FO3 and FO:NV, though they are not anywhere near the originals, but FO4 was utter garbage as FO game, and not very good RPG.

No they didn't. As someone who played through every TR, all Core TRs had pretty much the same controls. When CD took over from Core they changed controls (that's Legend,  Anniversary and Underwold). A lot of Core fans were not so happy about it, since it made game easier, but I was fine it, since core (pun intended) of the gameplay and what makes Tomb Raider and Lara were preserved.

Nothing of that has remained in this new crap.

Same happened to me regarding LBP. 3 is just unplayable. At launch it was even worse: full of bugs, glitches and crashes.

I surpressed those memories, yet now you mention it, first time I played it, it took almost a minute for the popit to show up every single time you pressed square. The game did some slow scan of all your screenshot directories of which I had a lot. I had to delete most of my screenshots for LBP3 to even work at all. Online wasn't working 90% of the time, it had horrendous loading times, bad stutter while playing, what went wrong with the game. Now it sorta works (still painful loading times on ps4 pro boost mode), it still isn't fun to play.

Yeah, same. I don't know what happened either... it used to be a fun game to play, but playing 3 becomes a hurdle. It was probably a lack of focus during development, and maybe they rushed it to be a holiday title (lots of signs).

I hope this is not the end of it tho, hopefully MM makes a new one by themselves one day, even if it's for PS5 I'd be happy to see that.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Can't believe I'm saying this but Pokemon. I loved Pokemon and always played it whether it was a ROM or when I actually bought the game. However since gen 6 I've been losing interest. After X and Y I felt like it was a waste. I heard about Hoenn getting a remake and couldn't care. Didn't even buy ORAS. Sun and Moon held my attention because it was trying something new but after I beat the game and started to farm BP I just couldn't bother with it anymore.

I'm seeing people get hyped for a console Pokemon but I just don't care anymore. Don't know if I'm growing out of it or what. HG/SS still remains my favorite Pokemon though.

That's what I came to say. Used to play a lot of NHL and MLB games in the 90's. Soccer, specifically ISS and it's sequel on the N64 is another example. Don't play fighting games nearly as much either. It's more that I've lost interest in them as opposed to not liking them. The only true example of a large shift in opinion I can think of regarding a series is Just Cause 2, which I loved, and Just Cause 3 which was a fucking mess. A bitter, bitter letdown. Off topic: Then those same c***s from the western branch of Square Enix killed IO and Hitman. What a wonderful bunch of suits.
