A couple of things.

1.)  A man who bragged on tape about grabbing women by the pussy was just elected leader of the free world and commander of the deadliest force on the planet. He just decommitted one of the largest polluters in the world from a pact aimed at averting a global catastrophe. But you think poltical correctness is what is doing us in?

2.) As another poster pointed out, these videos have zero to do with political correctness.

3.) I know everyone wants to freak out because it's the gaming community and everything, but these sorts of things are extremely common in all professions. There are assocations for black scientists, latino real-estate professionals, women lawyers. You name it. My own profession has them. It's really no big deal.

4.) It is incredibly naive to think that talent is the only determining factor in professional success. 

I encourage you to watch these videos again and ask yourself what you're really upset over here.

I don't have a problem with it at all. I feel like my interests as a white, hetero, male are the default representation in gaming, and Asian males are another gamer archetype. Therefore if you want to demonstrate how diverse gaming has become, which is good for marketing, then you show all those people who do not fit into the default demographics, and say "hey, we're not just white dudes and Asian nerds we're all types of people and we welcome all types of people. The only colour we care about is green"

Of course I'm a but grumpy because the only demographic not shown, which don't fit into the archetypes, over 40s, aren't there.

The anti-PC crowd seem to be so easy to bait these days. They may need their own safe space.

So freaking true.  Looking down on a minority group as just a group, and not individuals, that you need to help because they are just too poor and ignorant/dumb to make it on their own is just as racist as calling someone the N word.  And I'm glad people are starting to wake up to this.  They did earn those dislikes.

If you want to see politically incorrect, then do these videos, but only do the groups who were left out.  The SJWs would be in an uproar.  So, the opposite of politically incorrect is...politically correct.

1. Nice strawman.

2. Their intention of hosting those events in that fashion and putting vids up was to showcase them being politically correct. "Oh looky here, we're giving extra attention to these groups. We're listening". If that wasn't the point of the vids or part of the event, then they wouldn't need to bother with focusiing on it.

3. People are getting bothered by this because SJWs are trying to infect gaming with their idiocy. Any sign of it is not liked in the gaming world.

Whites males don't need a video or event explicitely focused on them because the majority of people at every nerd convention and in every nerd video are young white adult males. That's just how it is.

I dunno about Asians, though.

I'm going to throw my rattle out of the pram too since OP has and add my two cents:

1) why aren't brown people (Pakistani, Indian, bengali) not getting their own video

2) why aren't Arabs getting their own video

3) why aren't people with dwarfism getting their own video

4) why aren't people with autism getting their own video

5) why aren't oaps getting their own video

6) my cat isn't represented either and that's a big no no, because my cat is frigging awesome

Is this a fucking joke? I can't belive how incredibly stupid some white straight men can be, after being the priority number 1 in everything for mileniums now feel discriminated everytime they are not the center of attention of everything.

Regarding Asians, because no one in western media ever cared about Asians unless the purpose of their inclusion is pandering to the Asian market.
