I consider Overwatch kid-friendly. Maybe Team Fortress. And I haven't tried Plants vs Zombies, but it seems it could be too. There aren't a lot of kind friendly FPS tbh.

I'm not serious that they're kid friendly, but I am serious that I did play them when I was a kid.  I even played Mortal Kombat back then too :P

I'd say Splatoon is an obvious choice.  But I think Team Fortress 2 is a good one.  It's cartoony and not using 'real' guns.  And its free too! :D

Yet still plenty of blood, an Australian guy who hits people with jars of piss, and a constantly intoxicated grenader.

Then Splatoon it is! xD
