The problem is you are saying "These people are religious fundamentilist, so all religions are bad." The issue isn't religion. The terrorist aren't Christian, or Jewish, or Buddist, or Hindu, or Sihk, or some pegan tradition. The issue is Islam and Islam alone. The only religion you'd need to control is that one because the others are fine. Heck, Hindus can come to the West and do very well. Same for Buddist. Its only Islam that has an issue with Western civilization (and actually this applies to any country that is not Islam. People don't realize but Muslims have been fighting with Buddist and Hindus as well as Christians).
The way to control terroism to to establish border controls and force assymalation. You don't even have to control religions, just be warry that one particular religion wants to kill anyone who isn't of that particular religion.

Nope. And it would make no logical sense to do so considering the vast majority of religious people are not terrorists, and the vast majority of terrorists over the past 100 years have not been religious; they've been atheistic socialists. It is like banning schools to prevent school shootings.

But I would like religion to be protected less and pushed back a bit. If I believe that there are green dragons in the center of the earth, my belief should be considered to be equally good, logical and acceptable as traditional religions.
Banning religion will make more terrorists. So it'd be a bad idea. But people who are on terror watch lists should take mental evaluation tests
