They would win the VR scene potentially maybe by partnering with Valve or someone else since that is a space there Playstation doesn't hold dominance in terms of games and the Scorpio will not be held back in that front by the original Xbox.

Apart from that its hard to think about what they could do to win E3, I doubt its possible at all but hey Half Life 3 would do it and is just as likely to be announced as microsoft winning E3 ;)

I do expect a good show however and I do expect Microsoft/Xbox to offer good value for gamers who like their console/ecosystem phil has done a good job of that.

It's not about winning E3, it's about delivering consecutively every year. Delivering:

1) more variety of games
2) not just relying on Halo, Gears and Forza.
3) not giving up making games 2-3 years into a gen as they usually do.

$299-$349 Scorpio. Or $399 Scorpio AND like 3-4 BIG exclusives. No little indie ones that will most likely come to the PS4. And no timed AAA exclusives. Real exclusives that people don't expect. So, none of the same, "Forza, Halo, and Gears! Please be excited."

Ah, the same old X exclusive was canceled, or didn't perform well, on Xbox, so we'll pretend their was little hype or anticipation for it when the exact opposite is true.

I don't think MS can do anything until the next generation starts. Hopefully they'll have gotten their shit together by then.

Unfortunately nothing. The vast majority of gamers right now are PS fans which will claim Sony's win by default and Nintendo is guaranteed to have a phenomenal show with all this hype around Switch. With all these troubles Microsoft is facing for the last year it is impossible to compete. But I think that they don't need to win E3 actually. Their goal for this E3 is to start building consumer's trust in Xbox brand again. They need to show that they still care about video games industry because a lot of people are in doubt about this.
