No probs man. I know it's hard, I was 20kg overweight back in 2014, took a lot of hard work to get where I am now, but totally worth it.

That's impressive, I would need to lose around 15 kg to have 24.9 BMI, but 18-20 kg would probably be more optimal.

Thanks. Trick is to lose it gradually I found.

The key to quitting something, I found, is to substitute it with something else.

I replaced soft drinks and hot chocolate with tea and coffee, for example.

I always have at least one coffee every day, I need to drink more tea, cause only water is too extreme for me.

I will try limiting Coca-Cola cause it's about time.... Thanks for the tips.

I mix coke with club soda, not for weight reasons, because the massive amount of suger in coke only leaves me more thirsty. I used to mix it with diet pepsi max for a while but the next morning you still taste that suger alternative crap in your mouth. No more of that. Now I drink one or two coffees a day to replace that caffeine deficit :/

Tea is great, I drink lots of it. However on a hot day, nothing beats a cold drink with bubbles. Ice tea has more sugar in it than coke, it's not refreshing at all. (You could ofcourse make it yourself without sugar, I'm a bit too lazy to do that in advance lol)

I'm kinda weird with suger, I never put it in my tea, yet sprinkle it on top of peanut butter on bread.

You will. I would lie to you if I said I didn't have insecurities about my height. But when it won't matter to you anymore, you'll understand then how much no one cares about it. All it comes down to is confidence. May you find peace of mind!

It might be my head, I always hesitate to approach people I don't know thinking they will mock me for my height.

I really need to get over this or I'm gonna go crazy.

I also think I'd stop caring about it as much if I finally lost weight and found a girl, which I obviously don't try doing now, as I'm too unstable atm.

And I need to lose weight..

Thanks for the wishes.

Hang with Popek he gets the girls and look at how he looks.

I'm surprised at how many people are taller than me here, I was only expecting a few!

How much do you weigh?

89 kg (196 pounds)

Need to lose around 15 kg (33 pounds) to get back in shape.

I don't even know how much I weigh, but I think that it's less than that.

Go to the gym as soon as you can. Set up a training routine. This will be a good challenge for you - building your confidence by exposing you to other people, with your height and weight, while minding yourself to pursue your objective of an ideal weight. Slowly, you will start to see the others fade away, and you will enter the gym like you own the damn place. Push yourself out of your confort zone, test your limit, test your will. Take back your life as I did, I started training a month ago and already lost 9 pounds.

Loving yourself equals turning yourself into the person you want to be. You can't change your height. Instead, focus on what you can change: your weight, your shape. You will enjoy being able to control something you can control. It will make you forget whatever complexes you about your perfect height.

I'm 6'8"

To all those people who are tall and young, do everything you can to not cram yourself into small places (like small cars etc), because it does come back to bite you in your 30s...
