It's unfortunate to see people use terrorism for political agendas. It's especially common in the Middle East, so you're not the only person who gets upset easily with these situations

I'm angry at the politicians for not recognising the core root of the problem and working towards fixing it.

Islam is the problem. It's been spread by the sword for 1400 years and it's not going to stop now. The original doctrines of the Quran, Hadith and biography of Mohammed give you everything you need to know to understand the motivations behind these terrorist attacks. They are also considered final and unalterable word of God by many Muslims.

It's just another ideology. Like communism, Christianity or Scientology. There is nothing wrong with criticising bad ideas and Islam is loaded with them. Why are the politicians so afraid that criticism of Islam will be conflated with bigotry against Muslims as people? The people can change their ideology for now in the West. There is no killing for apostasy here.

Just tell people how bad Islam is. If the politicians are too scared to speak out against Islam then that's just more evidence that it's a destructive ideology.
