Possible, but unlikely, not just due to install base, but also competition with other best sellers, plus all the other minor sellers, for the money Switch gamers are willing to spend this year. It will probably outsell it during 2018., while Zelda and MK8 have more chances to outsell it this year, having started earlier and at the highest of launch and post-launch hype.

Nope, it's too much, Splatoon's legs were bosted by the lack of games on Wii U, after 2/3 months Fire Emblem, Mario+Rabbids and possibily another title will be out for the Switch, it will sell more on the long run though !

I think it's manageable for Splatoon 2. I'd say it gonna sell around 4.5 Mil. So they'd be neck in neck
