PS5

What? If anything that would be a guaranteed victory for Sony. It's about time that they release a powerful console on the market.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

If Nintendo fails to please curl-6. then they have failed to win E3 in my eyes.

MS: Not enough games to back up their platform, nor warrant a reason to get a Scorpio.
Sony: Focus too much on stuff we already know, no new announcements/surprises, and not showing off TLOU2.
Nintendo: I don't even wanna think about it...

They will announce Persona 5 for Switch, but will provide extra attention to their removal of Futaba from the game.

Sony: Not showing footage of already announced games like TLoU 2, God of War, Detroit, Spiderman, etc... Showing too many 3rd party games on stage (Aka; the vast majority of their showing ends up being multiplatform games rather than 1/2nd party),

Nintendo: Not announcing games for beyond 2017 and or showing no footage of already announced games like Fire Emblem, Xenoblade 2, etc...

Microsoft: Not having any new IP's or lack of new announcements in general, spending too much time talking about Project Scorpio.

Nintendo's lineup:
-Metroid Federation Force 2: AnOther M;
-Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival 2: Leafs on the board;
-Kid Icaurs: Cooking Sim;
-The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 2: Sidon's journey

Nintendo: Not announcing anything new (because they focus only on 2017), Mario Odyssey delay (please understand...)
Sony: Too many cinematic trailers. They do nothing for me, give me gameplay trailers!

Piranha Bytes: Not release Elex this year

Because why should the consumer have a choice right?

Sony could fuck this up by not announcing new 1st Party IPs (needs at least two). Also need to have playable versions of Days Gone and God of War.

Nintendo will flub if they fail to announce any significant 3rd party games. They need ports of games like CoD and Star Wars Battlefront to entice gamers who want portable console titles, but not necessarily only portable Nintendo console titles.

FromSoftware could flub this by not showing anything, but it seems they will. I'll be upset if there's no Bloodborne 2, despite the heavy amount of rumors. Also curious as to what "Phantom Wail" could be.

Actually that is the one plausible thing that would doom Sony's conference for me.  The PS4 is still going strong and have plenty of games coming 2018/2019 for the system.  Announcing a PS5 either means the system is coming way too early, or has been announced way too soon.  I am fine to wait until 2019 for the PS5 announcement.

I think I'd be happy no matter what gets shown at the Sony conference this year. I'm currently sat on a backlog that could take me months to get through, so I'm in no real rush for them to announce anything beyond what's already known.
