I expect ms to get everything but their first party right. If all they have is the same exclusives then it's going to be seen as a major flop by non ms fans. PR nightmare.

Jumpin said: Meh, probably best to stop pretending it's 2005. E3 is not nearly as big or important as it once was. It has lost a lot of weight. There aren't many announcements anymore, and even Nintendo has stated they plan to do their big announcements at another time. Their plans are for an extended length Direct focused on the rest of the year. Gamescom is the most popular show of the year, and is now multiple times bigger than E3. While E3 gets under 50K in attendance and 200 exhibitors, Gamescom saw 345,000 people, including more than 6000 journalists, and over 700 exhibitors from 88 countries. |
Because E3 used to be a press only event and still has limited access to the public. E3 is still the home for the biggest conferences and reveals.

And MS fans alike.

I wouldn't expect much in the way of new 3rd party titles from Nintendo for another year or so... it's pretty clear most of the western 3rd party devs have taken a wait-and-see approach and are just testing the waters with a few multiplats.
Obviously there's that Rabbids one, but it'll probably be mostly japanese indies this first year.

Really? I'm sick of games being announced too early. 2018 would be fine. Beyond? They can keep them secret. We know they're coming.
Microsoft: No new 1st or 2nd party games. Whether they be new IP or Reboots. IDK
Super expensive Scorpio.
Maybe not THAT beyond.
But still, they can't just stick to showing more of the games we already know about (Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Splatoon 2, etc.)
We all know those games are coming and we already plan on buying and playing those games and people who plan on getting a Switch for those games either have one (by some miracle) or plan on getting one anyways (good luck).
Now that the Switch is off to a great start, they need to show off titles we don't know about for further down the line that will keep the momentum going and add to it.

That would be great news.
Nintendo will do a sinilar thing in 2015. = Too much interviews with PR or flowery stuff that we gamers don't give a shit about.
Too much focus on Mario Odyssey and No big surprises for 2018 or 2017.
Pocky Lover Boy!
