I think the floor space will reflect how big of an impact each company will make.
1. Sony +43,000sq f
2. Nintendo +32000sq f
3. Microsoft +17000sq f

Sony will win as usual, Nintendo will bring da good ish, and MS will be all about da Ultimate 4K experience without any surprise game announcements.

Well now I have seen everything. Fans now declaring who wins E3 just by floor space...ok then.

Don't you know? It doesn't even matter what happens at every E3, SONY always win! Nintendo can have everything but SONY had it first or better so by default they win...

When you have barely any games u dont need much space,

Nintendo and Sony on the other hand...

I personally think otherwise, more floor space means more empty spaces !

Isnt alot of it just how much media and fans you expect to seat?

Maybe sony just think they ll draw bigger crowds than MS does.

That said yeah.... Floor space does not equal winner of e3.

That comes down to surprises / reveals / games shown.

People once again trying to make asssumptions that are silly. Its smaller, so what? Its also by the entrance, so its the first thing people see when walking in.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

It's the nature of this site to compare everything by scale.

We compare retail size, online size, harddrive size, console size, floor size, gif size, penis size etc.

Exactly.

Guess we're going back to the days of Sony vs Nintendo.

Yep, it's the first thing they'll pass as they make a beeline to Sony and Nintendo's booths.

Nintendo and Sony are relatively the same square footage wise but Microsoft have dropped a whole 10,000 square feet.

I think it just shows MS declining interest in Xbox.  Spending less on ads.  Less on 3rd party marketing agreements.  Spending less on 3rd party exclusives, even cancelling many of the future ones.  Focusing on Windows.  Now, spending less on floor space at the largest video game conference.  I think the future of Xbox HW is going to be resting mostly on the Scorpio.  If it fails, a Xbox 2 is definitely going to be in question. Also, I expect to hear about Windows quite a bit at E3, just like last year.
