Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump to pull from Paris Climate Accord

Worst President the US has ever had?

Donald Trump 65 47.45%

Donnie Tinyhands 4 2.92%

Grabher [by the pu**y] 13 9.49%

President "I have the best words" 7 5.11%

Covfefe 48 35.04%

Total:137

What I find funnier is the hypocrisy behind how bad Trump is. You all make it sound like everyone here is a saint that wants to save the world from its doom. But you know what? All of us are as much of the problem as Trump and there's no stopping what is happening to the earth because we chose to live a life of commodities and comfort. The only way to stop climate change is to give up the lifestyle you refuse to change. I'm sure most of you go out buy fast food which immediately is the reason why the world is at the stage where it is. You're not better than Trump nor are any of the G7 hypocrites. And unless you choose to live a hermit life, living with what nature provides you in the area where you choose to live, and, get rid of all the material things that you choose to pay for which harm the planet, you will not make a difference.

1) hes in a position of power to change things, so we arnt as much of a problem as trump is in this matter.

2) hes got many houses, cars, flys all over the place, takes a golf caddy instead of walking a short walk (when he was in europe).

3) youre wrong, about our current life style needing to change, to effect global enviroment. There are cleaner ways to do things.

You'll try to justify every little thing Trump does. Even if he beat a puppy you'd find a way to blame the dog and make Trump out as the best person ever.

I don't think that Trump would ever care about anything that doesn't affect him or his voters.

There was actually a pie chart a few years back that had about 12 programs that combined would be able to halt global changes, and bring emissions back into a sustainable zone. Republicans attacked every single one of these steps and then said stupid shit like, "stopping logging isnt going to affect the climate, china china china".

Power, farming, and manufacturing emissions make up 50%+ of our emissions, and there are many things that can be improved to be more efficient. The main argument against our emissions options are that even if we spend a hundred billion to bring down our emissions by 5%, that 5% is just going to be increased somewhere else in the world by a country that doesn't care.

This is exactly why there are world treaties like this, so that everyone can be on the same page.

The world is changing dude, and every country is trying to maintain this problem. It's now 99.9% of scientists who agree, and 97% of countries who are taking action.

Of course he's going to pull from the Paris Climate Accord, because OF COURSE he is. We, all of us, need more coal. More clean coal. I'm so glad we have somebody in a position of such power with the wisdom to help steer the planet in this direction. Fuck, if he gets assassinated I'll wank to the footage. I'm might not even get it out before I cream my jeans.

As would I. At this point, I'd prefer it over impeachment or resigning

I fear it's going to take Florida sinking into the sea to get some in Washington to start listening.

That would be terrible for Republicans! They usually need Florida to get their candidates in the White House... then again California might suffer the same fate which would be beneficial for them.

Would certainly create a rallying cry for those who have been warning of the dangers of climate change for the longest time now.
