Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Miyamoto's role at Nintendo

It means that he is old.

Around the Network

He sits back and takes credit for games other people make

He's the boss.

It means that he can dump all the money he wants into prostitues and then say it was the developers' fault

I was listening to Dire dire docks, and then browsing some images of Super Mario bros logos, then thought about Miyamoto and googled him.

The interwebz said that he is now co-Representative Director of Nintendo. Does anyone know what that means?

Thanks for clarifying this for me.

Miyamoto is a Representative Director and Creative Fellow (this means he is head of Nintendo's software development). Representative Director just means hes a member of the Board in addition to being a senior officer.

Hes so senior he doesn't whatever the fuck he wants really.

They gave him a window seat. Only difference with a plain window seat, they allow him to go out to shake hands. And shake his head at those punk youngsters that rule gaming world nowadays.
