Right now the top 4 selling software titles on Amazon.com are (in order) ARMS, Ultra Street Fighter II, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. 

Man, Switch owners are buying software like crazy.

The only reason is 'cause switch has no gamez... so people have to buy the same games, hence they top the chartz

The diversity is good too.

An action brawler, 2D arcade fighter, kart racer, and an open world adventure game ... it's not like

Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart being the top 4 or Pokemon + Mario and nothing but.

The diversity of a software ecosystem is just as important I think as raw sales.

I wonder if there is a single Switch owner who does not own Zelda.....

So basically those are the options after they beat the only mandatory game on the system, some might go MK if they didn't have a Wii U, some might go old-school, and so on.

Sounds more like a cry from help really.

It's still sort of dumb imo how a lot of third parties didn't bother to have anything ready for Switch launch/first few months. I mean, don't get me wrong, it is completely understandable why a lot of them would have had a 'wait and see' approach to the Switch after seeing how badly the Wii U failed, but not even a single title from some of them, even just in case it did sell well like it currently is? Seemed really dumb imo, though it is possible there will be a lot of announcements at E3 and that's only 3 months after Switch launch so I dunno. 

I said in another thread but it makes me more glad to see what current software from third parties on the Switch seems to be selling well because it feels more deserving considering they at least bothered to support the Switch at launch or close to launch where as a lot of others didn't.
