Third party apps are content, rather than evolution.

The UI is good as is, nice and sleek.

Better sharing methods would be nice.

Achievements and a browser program are completely pointless. Of all the pointless gimmicks that Nintendo can add to the Switch, achievements are at the bottom.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I would rather they focused on game related updated, such as playtime, folderd and the such.Having said that, it would be ignorant of me to say that Netflix, and other non-gaming features are irrelevant.They make a console more atractive for the general public after all.The only thing Nintendo needs to get as they incopore them, however, is so that it dosent get in the way in the main feature of the hardware:games.

seeing the title I came in here to tell the OP he is wrong....

OP is right, I hate that I have to put down the switch and pick up my tablet or phone to open up youtube or netflix, for such a tiny 3rd party app it really is a failing by Nintendo that they've introduced a scenario where they're console is powered off rather than used for all to retire other devices.

Why? My PS4 doesnt allow me to play, watch a netflix movie, organize all my items in folders, visit 1 or 2 websites, while I'm on the park or traveling on the bus or on the train while going to work... does yours?

So...you want your Switch to be just a limited "insert card, play, remove card, insert card play" type of console? Gotcha. But the XXI century is ringing at the door... apparently it wants to come in.
