There is, I played the full hour on Pro Controller. It played a whole lot better than I was expecting it too.

There are. I thought motion was better, but traditional is definitely an option.
Think I'm going to pass on this. I really like the look of the characters and bright colors and I tried the beta out a few mins ago and I guess I don't like the online one vs one aspects. Too much competitive pressure for me.

This question is for the both of you: what were the controls for the pro controller?
I wanted to try out Spring Man next, but by then the hour was up.
My goal is to experiment with all the available characters twice, once with traditional controls and once with motion. Hopefully towards the end I'll be pretty comfortable with both control styles, I'll know what to expect and I should have a Main decided.

2 issues, guard on L stick sucks and curving punches with left stick is stupid because that is also for moving
There are five control schemes but I only tried motion. Would like to try the others.
That was surprisingly fun! I liked the motion controls due to the workout, but I think I would switch to the pro controller if I got super competitive. My skill level is high enough with motion controls to be happy though

So I guess this is the impressions thread then? Even though that didn't seem to be the OP's intention lol.
Anywho, damn that was hella fun, but no surprise there! What might be surprising is that I decided to try out motion controls first as I was really intrigued to see if I'd like that "thumbs up" set-up. I ended up using the motion controls through the entire hour lel. Felt good and I was able to play competently so the idea of switching to the pro controller didn't even cross my mind. Will give it try tomorrow though.

OPs intention was to get views on his YT vid... the more this topic is on the front page the more likely people will watch his vid. I doubt he cares what people are commenting
I on the other hand am not that shallow and by that I mean I recorded an hour of footage and its still uploading
