I'm glad the release wasn't jampacked. Now all the "no games" comments can finally disappear.

People still suggest it about the ps3 and Vita....

Outside of the occassional sarcastic comment, I'm pretty sure we all know they have a lot of games. As for the Vita, the type of games is what tends to make people ignore it

There are currently 1414[a] games across both this page (A to L) and the remainder of the list from M to Z.

All 1414 of them aren't the type of game you enjoy?

Think about that for a while.

All I know is this year has the best Zelda game since god knows when and is topped off by a 3D Mario that looks to be a return to 64 style Mario which I've been wanting ever since the actual 64. This year wins by default.

I don't play sales so I hardly care if there ends up being another year like the Wii's first with more total sales. This year wins. You'd think this would get me to buy a Switch, I mean there isn't anything more I'd want really. Maybe I will, this holiday, we'll see.

I get there are games for everyone. However, my local Best Buy and Gamestop rarely have any games for the Vita at all.

You and I both know the Vita has many good games. However, someone with little to no gaming knowledge would probably be turned off by it. There's a reason why the PS4 is preferred over the Vita by many. The PS4 also has more big-hitters that makes it a better gaming machibe.

Just need to confirm Animal Crossing and then it should surpass the Wii first year. Splatoon 2, Monster Hunter, and Animal Crossing will set Japan on fire. Might as well throw a Pokemon main game in there for shits and giggles.

Wouldn't consider those system sellers in Japan but they could only help keep the momentum going.

I really wouldn't consider the ps4 and the Vita to be choices you make as having one or the other, but yeah of course game shops don't carry more than 1/100th the Vita's absolutely phenomenal library (i.e. 14 games) but yeah the machine really has something for everyone now and there is on average 2-4 games launched for it each week if you follow the new psn game articles on vgchartz.

The stigma of it as the NGP or No Gaems Portable should long since be dead, but remaines as the machine closes in on 1.5k games.

Consoles which don't sell well generally aren't viewed positively. The Wii U has the same issues. A lot of great games which go ignored. Doesn't make it any better to see the amazing games being next to garbage.

Just for comparisons sake, from Wiki

Wii-U

There are currently 737[a] games on this list.

The Vita literally has double it's library in terms of number of games, I'm just saying that the type of game argument falls to shreds at the point where there is so many to pick from, if you can really turn your nose up to the nearly 1 and a half thousand games on the system the issue isn't the range of games, the issue you have is people having a problem with the system their on, that problem for the most part sadly... is that they think it doesn't have games they would love.

There isn't a single Genre that the Vita doesn't cover and doesn't cover well at that.
