May 19 to May 25 and the chart is from the proper Switch Eshop Best Sellers Ranking, i thinks is only USA Eshop.

If it's like on Wii U, then every country has it's own charts on the eShop

Yes, every major region (NA/EU/JP) has their own charts. You can just make a new profile on Switch and tether it to another regions eshop and check them out that way.

Also Mbolibombo posted the EU ones:

It's true that with the right people you can have fun with pretty much anything, but then you usually don't have to pay $60 for that.

That's one thing I do agree on. If priced accordingly or bundled people would be less offended by it. I did actually get it very cheap so it has represented value for money for me personally.

Yeah same I didn't pay much for 12 switch and with drunk people have always had fun

I actually think every country in the EU has its own chart. I live in Belgium and the chart looks a bit different:

1. Minecraft
2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. NBA Playgrounds
4. Thumper
5. Snipperclips
6. Kamiko
7. Wonderboy
8. The Legend of Zelda: BotW
9. Fast RMX
10. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
11. Snake-Pass
12. Ultra Street Fighter
13. Puyo Puyo Tetris
14. Rudymical
15. NeoGeo Garou

Not a big difference, just a few titles that switched places.

Norway have always had separate charts from other countries in europe as well so I think this is correct. Can't quite understand why, but I suppose there's a point to it.

Why the reviews on the eshop (not sure if they still are on the switch but they were on wii u and 3ds) are separate I really don't get though. Oftentimes a problem when you tried judging a game and because it wasn't the most mainstream there was only 11 reviews. Would make a lot more sense to share at least that with the entire region/world.

Yeah, I also don't understand why they did that. Here everything also had only a few reviews, so the ratings were kind of pointless imo. There aren't any ratings on the Switch, but if they ever implement it I hope they'll use global ratings instead.

I've just bought Thumper and I thought it was mental, so I'm glad it's holding up in the chart. Also surprised to see NBA:Playground holding up pretty strong in the charts. Maybe I'll give it a chance. Is it fun? I had a lot of fun with NBA Jam back in the days and it seems pretty similar.

Why the hate for 1,2 Switch? It's nice to see diversity in the Switch line up, plus it's a great party game.

No it's not, Jackbox is a great party game, Buzz is a great party game, Singstar is a great party game, Just Dance is a great party game, Mario Party (most of them) are great party games, Wii Sports is a great party game, even Wii Play is ok.

1-2-Switch is barely a game. It was created for one reason "what can we do with these new controllers." Fun took a backseat, as did anything remotely related to rewarding skill.

You can't even imagine how much fun we had with it so far. And we will play it with more people this weekend.

It's pretty fun. Here's my review: http://www.vgchartz.com/article/268097/nba-playgrounds-ns/

I was just reading that Saber is launching a patch the improves some things, including adding a meter that shows when to release the ball -- which addresses my biggest gripe with the game.

Maybe wait for that to go live?

Most of the games you mentioned are just good local multiplayer games. Street Fighter was a good party game too when it first released. 1,2 Switch has more in common with Twister or Pass the Parcel than any of those.

The 'tech demo' comments aren't justified. Only one game uses the IR camera and maybe 2 or 3 actually use the HD rumble. The rest could be done on the Wii.

I can't think of another game that is local-mulitplayer only. No CPU opponents, no online multi and It doesn't even keep track of players names/high scores. It's more 'pick up n play' than Wii Sports.

edit: I suspect Nintendo was going to bundle 12S with the red/blue joycons before they thought better of it.
