For those with 7.0, what are your thoughts on it compared to 6.0 (or your previous OS)?

I have a Note 5, and the update came a few days ago. Personally, I'm really enjoying it. It feels smoother and more efficient than 6.0. Also, battery issues have disappeared for me. Probably my favorite OS since 4.4

It sucks. It made some user interfaces worse. Like for example managing your display brightness. You could also activated auto adjustment for brightness by pulling down the menu from the top screen on Android 6.x. This option is now completely gone. Also, home screen drop down menu is now fixed to 6 icons on a row. On Android 6.x you could scroll left and right so you would have more icons on the first row without the need to pull down the menu even further. This was removed. So you have to make more unnecessary steps to go where you want to go.

Also, there seem to be more notifications like, "do you want to close apps to safe battery?" and some more which pop-up repeatedly.

One thing they fixed is the smartview function. Now I can finally display my Smartphone on my old Samsung's Smart TV screen and vice versa without much configuration. Before the update. It didn't work at all, because Samsung broke this feature by patching it.

Has been better than 6.0 for me, but that also may be because i got 7.0 with my new phone, The battery management is better and the split screen is amazing, though I still prefer cyaongen/lineage OS over stock android. The UI difference from 6 is minimal, and doesnt really bother me. The faster transitions are great.
Hope Google fixes the update issues like they promised with android O

I love it. Many new features. There's also some hidden things like a UI Tuner that fixes some of the issues that Peh has. Look at a YouTube video to see how to access them.

It may depend on your device, though. I have a Moto Z Force and couldn't be happier.

The split windows are nice. I'm using LineageOS on my OnePlus One and it's smooth. But I wished Google would update their damn kernel already, They've been stuck on 3.X since eternity while the 4.X Linux kernel already has several LTS versions.

I keep my cell phone use fairly simplistic. The interface is more streamlined especially when you go into the settings. The "Device Maintenance" is a very nice touch. Very satisfied.

still running 4 lol

There is no UI Tuner on the S6 Edge... Samsung screwed it up again.

Mine either hasn't updated yet or I haven't noticed.
